The Pocztowy Dar Foundation supported the organisation of the "Get Ready for Work" project – integration and social culinary workshops organised by the Association for Supporting Disabled People "Res Sacra Miser" based in Gościeradów and the Occupational Therapy Workshop at the Nursing Home in Gościeradów.
The workshops took place in September and October 2013. The project was addressed to people with disabilities – participants of the Occupational Therapy Workshop in Gościeradów.
The "Getting Ready for Work" project is a series of culinary workshops whose primary goal is to increase the independence of disabled participants by teaching them how to prepare simple meals, use household appliances, and shop for recipes for various dishes. The skills acquired in this way also help participants in their daily lives.
The postal gift financed the purchase of small kitchen equipment necessary for running the Culinary Workshops for People with Disabilities, including dishes, a juicer, and a multicooker. These items will continue to serve SWON's beneficiaries after the event ends.
