Poczta Polska has actively participated in providing aid to Ukrainian citizens. It has just sent another shipment of donations. In total, the company – in cooperation with clients, entities from the Poczta Polska group, and the Pocztowy Dar foundation – has sent over 200 pallets of donations to Ukraine, worth over PLN 1.3 million.

The first aid shipment – 32 pallets of donations – was sent on March 4th of this year. It contained items such as canned meat, powdered milk, baby food, candy bars, hygiene products, disinfectants, wipes, mats, sleeping bags, blankets, and canvas stretchers. The value of the donations exceeded PLN 224,000. The donations were financed by funds from, among others, the "Pocztowy Dar" foundation, entities from the Poczta Polska Group, and six companies cooperating with the company. The aid went to the steadfast employees of the Ukrainian Post Office (UKRPOSHTA), with whom, despite the ongoing war, Polish postal workers continue to cooperate.

In the second shipment, essential items such as thermal blankets, raincoats, protective footwear, children's sleeping bags, protective gloves, disposable diapers, disinfectants, mineral water, and first aid kits were donated by Amazon, with whom the company has collaborated for many years on a number of services. The donations were delivered to the postal foundation from three Amazon distribution centers located in Gliwice, Wrocław, and Pawlikowice near Łódź.

Transport number three, which departed from Leżajsk for the Przemyśl Archdiocese Caritas warehouse, contained food, hygiene and cleaning products, children's mattresses, and clothing. As with the two previous transports, the products were donated by companies cooperating with Poczta Polska. This once again delivered 19 pallets of products to those in need in the war-torn country.

Almost since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, Poczta Polska has been organizing fundraising drives among its employees. To date, dozens of pallets containing items most urgently needed by refugees have been delivered to regional reception points and warehouses. The "Postal Gift" Foundation has also established a special sub-account for donations to aid Ukraine: 36 1320 1104 3014 4239 2000 0005. All funds donated to this account are used to purchase products included in subsequent shipments. Additionally, as part of grassroots initiatives, at least several employees have supported Ukrainian residents through volunteer work, including work at the Przemyśl railway station.

Poczta Polska has been supporting Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian aggression. In agreement with the Ukrainian Post, Poczta Polska assumed, among other roles, the role of the UKRPOSHTA liaison for international postal traffic. The company also joined the government's program to aid its attacked neighbor. The national postal operator made available to the relevant state structures, among other things, its accommodation facilities in postal training and recreation centers (which have already housed over 200 refugees) and in a staff hostel, vehicles for transporting Ukrainian citizens from the border to a location in Poland designated by crisis management teams, and for transports to the Government Agency for Strategic Reserves. As part of its assistance to the people of struggling Ukraine, Poczta Polska also donated seven armored cash-in-transit vehicles. These were delivered to Ukraine's largest bank, PrivatBank. The company also donated boxes for collections to city halls and Caritas. It also provided warehouse space, including for Caritas. Poczta Polska has also declared its readiness to offer jobs to refugees (the first recruitments are already underway), including many positions where knowledge of the Polish language is not required.
