Postal Adventures – an original educational project of the Poczta Polska Group Foundation and Poczta Polska – implemented under the patronage of the Minister of Education, has already reached over 28,000 preschools and primary schools. The program has generated enormous interest among teachers, who appreciate its educational, developmental, and social value.
Lesson plans introduce children to the fascinating world of post:
- they show the route a letter or parcel must take to reach the addressee,
- they introduce the work of a postman,
- they talk about old telegrams and the modern circulation of parcels,
- encourage creative action.
Children draw their own postcards, create parcels, learn about the history of the Polish Post Office, and listen to stories from distant Finland, learning about different cultures. Finally, they eagerly prepare letters for Santa Claus, which they drop into Christmas mailboxes.
