They are there wherever selfless help, goodwill, and social engagement are needed, evident in many areas of life. On December 5th, we celebrate International Volunteer Day. We thank all volunteers who share their time, energy, and skills with others.
Today, we have a wonderful opportunity to show the world the enormous role played by those engaged in community service on behalf of others—at the local, national, and international levels. Their work—often invisible—is invaluable and irreplaceable.
There's a common image of a volunteer as a hero with a calling, exceptionally resilient because they're constantly exposed to the suffering and problems of others. This isn't quite the image of a typical volunteer, though many certainly possess these traits.
Volunteers are exceptional people! You can always count on their presence, willingness to provide selfless help, and concern for others. They know how to share kindness with others and "infect" others with their willingness to help.
Volunteering is associated with enormous responsibility, sacrifice, and the need to dedicate significant time to helping others. We view it as a moral obligation, so often, despite our desire to help, we refrain from actually getting involved.

Nothing could be further from the truth! a volunteer ! All you need is an openness to the plight of others: people, animals, and nature, as well as a modicum of empathy, interest, a willingness to share yourself and your time, and a willingness to grow and embrace challenges.
The "Pocztowy Dar" Foundation also relies on the support of people of good will—volunteers and donors . Their commitment makes the work of the Pocztowy Dar Foundation possible and visible. Without them, there would be no such extraordinary RUN, "Christmas Collection at Post Offices," or "Pocztowa Gwiazda" (Post Christmas). On behalf of the Board and Beneficiaries of the "Pocztowy Dar" Foundation, we thank you for your presence, work, and commitment!
