Santa Claus isn't just found in Lapland. In just a few days, the "Santa Claus Winter Settlement" opens in Silesian Park in Chorzów. The Polish Post Office and the "Pocztowy Dar" Foundation will also be there.
Santa's Winter Village will be open from December 3rd to 11th and from December 16th to 18th of this year. There are plenty of attractions for visitors – both young and old – including tours of Santa's House, the opportunity to meet Santa and take a souvenir photo, Christmas activities for children, and stands full of delicious treats.
Another attraction will be an information and sales stand from Poczta Polska and the Postal Foundation, organized by RS Katowice. Postal workers will also be part of the jury that will evaluate entries submitted for the traditional letter to Santa Claus competition. Special prizes will be awarded to winners, and consolation prizes to other participants.
