Over 560 donation boxes at post offices

24.04.2021

Over two years ago, the first collection boxes appeared at selected post offices, collecting funds to support the youngest beneficiaries of the "Pocztowy Dar" Foundation. Today, the boxes are located in 562 locations across Poland.

The collection boxes, marked with the "Pocztowy Dar" Foundation logo, are located in prominent locations (on counters at post office windows) in the most frequently visited post offices. Each collection box is professionally secured against possible theft and – to ensure the safety of employees and the collected funds – emptied regularly.

Experience from the pilot program, which ran for almost two years in over 62 facilities, demonstrates the success of the initiative. The money collected enabled us to help several of our youngest clients, purchasing medical and rehabilitation equipment and financing specialized care.

"People eagerly put money into the cans. They contain small pieces of money and banknotes. Among our beneficiaries are many children waiting for our support, the vast majority of whom are the children of our employees. We would like to help each of these young people. As president of the Foundation, I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has even once put money into the can and encouraged someone to share their money with those in need. I also extend my heartfelt thanks to the employees of the Social Welfare Centre, the Social Welfare Centre, and the Social Welfare Centre, thanks to whom the cans were placed in our branches," says B. Agnieszka Kłoda-Dębska, president of the "Pocztowy Dar" Foundation.

We appeal to all people of good will to support the Foundation’s activities by donating 1% of their tax to the “Pocztowy Dar” Foundation (KRS 0000370216).
