The Polish edition of the 55th International Letter Writing Competition for Young People (UPU) has started

04.03.2026

The Poczta Polska Group Foundation organized the Polish edition of the 55th International Letter Writing Competition for Young People, organized by the Universal Postal Union (UPU). The competition is held under the Honorary Patronage of the Speaker of the Sejm and the Minister of Education and is implemented as part of the "Postal Adventures" educational program. The "Cała Polska Czy Dzieciom" Foundation provides substantive patronage.

We invite children and young people aged 9–15 to participate. This year's theme is: "Write a letter to a friend about why human connection matters in the digital world."

The deadline for submitting works is April 10, 2026 (the date of the postmark is decisive).

The 10 best entries will be selected in the national stage, and their authors and schools will receive prizes. One letter will represent Poland in the international finals in Bern.

Detailed information, competition rules and the consent form are available at: https://www.poczta-polska.pl/fundacja/co-robimy/tradycja/pocztowe-przygody/konkurs/
