On the last day of October, we finished the fundraising campaign, all funds raised will be used to help postal workers affected by the flood.
As part of the fundraising campaign, announced the day after the first towns were flooded, we raised a total of PLN 180,100.21 . Many people joined in, donating both small and large amounts.
On behalf of the Foundation's Board and Council, we thank everyone who has committed to helping! Without the solidarity, generosity, and kind hearts of our donors, we would not be able to help those who desperately need both financial resources to repair their losses and the belief that people are good and help others in need, rather than abandoning them.
Aid is already being provided to the first victims. Additional people who have submitted applications and documented their losses as a result of the flood will receive support soon.
The "Pocztowy Dar" Foundation is still accepting applications from those affected. Applications can be submitted until the end of November.
A correctly completed application together with documentation confirming the random event (e.g. confirmation from the police, fire brigade, municipal office, etc., photographic documentation, cost estimate of the necessary works) should be sent to the following postal address: Fundacja "Pocztowy Dar", ul.
