Become a volunteer for the Daffodils campaign – employee volunteering

03.03.2026

The Poczta Polska Group Foundation invites you to participate in employee volunteering in support of the celebrations of April 19 – the anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.

The Daffodils campaign, organized by the POLIN Museum, is one of the most important nationwide initiatives commemorating these events. As part of the volunteer program, volunteers will be distributing daffodils in Warsaw, promoting their symbolic role. The daffodil symbolizes the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising and recalls Marek Edelman's gesture of annually laying yellow flowers at the Monument to the Ghetto Heroes. Today, it serves as a reminder of the fate of the ghetto's residents and the need to respond to acts of violence.

The Warsaw Ghetto Uprising lasted from April 19 to May 16, 1943, and was one of the first urban armed uprisings against the German occupation in Europe. During it, approximately 13,000 people died and approximately 50,000 were deported to extermination camps.

In March, POLIN Museum staff will conduct online training for volunteers. Each volunteer will also have the opportunity to visit POLIN Museum with their family free of charge.

People interested in getting involved in volunteering activities are asked to contact the Foundation by March 9 at: fundacja@poczta-polska.pl
