Postcard Map of Dobra

Collection of in-kind donations at Polish Post offices

The "Postcard Map of Good" is a nationwide initiative of the Poczta Polska Group Foundation, implemented in cooperation with Poczta Polska SA, through which collections of in-kind donations are organized four times a year at post offices for children and families in need. Collections take place during periods of particular importance to beneficiaries and respond to their current needs: before Christmas ("Postcard for Christmas"), before Easter ("Postcard for Easter"), before Children's Day ("Postcard for Children"), and before the start of the school year ("Postcard for School"). During this time, post offices become symbolic places for "sending goodness," and each edition, with its own name and identification, operates within a single, cohesive program.

The regularity of activities makes helping a permanent element of Poczta Polska's operations, and the program creates a lasting and formally secure model of cooperation between the Foundation, aid institutions and the network of post offices, enabling effective, transparent and legally compliant public collections for local entities in need of support.

The idea of the program

The "Postcard Map of Good" was designed as a program that simultaneously impacts three areas: aid institutions, local communities, and Polish Post employees. It provides institutions with ongoing and tangible in-kind support that directly improves the living conditions of children and families and strengthens their capacity for daily activities.

It activates local communities, enabling customers and residents to engage in support of organizations operating in their immediate surroundings and demonstrating that coordinated efforts have real, measurable impact. At the same time, it strengthens the engagement of Poczta Polska employees, emphasizing their role as co-creators of initiatives of significant social significance and translating the concept of social responsibility into concrete, operational actions.

Program Objectives

  • Providing children and families in difficult life situations with real and systematic material support
  • Creating a uniform, formally secure model for public collections carried out on a nationwide scale
  • Enabling a wide range of aid institutions to participate in the program, regardless of their legal form and organizational status
  • Increasing the territorial scope and scale of collections
  • Strengthening cooperation between the Foundation, aid institutions and the network of Polish Post offices
  • Building a sustainable assistance infrastructure based on regularity and transparent principles of operation

How we work

The Poczta Polska Group Foundation is the organizer of the public collection and the sole legal entity vis-à-vis the Ministry of Interior and Administration. All collections conducted as part of the "Postcard Map of Good" are conducted under a single public collection number and centrally accounted for by the Foundation.

The Foundation coordinates the collection of in-kind donations at Polish Post offices for designated aid institutions and is responsible for the coherence and formal security of the entire process.

The program allows participation from a wide range of institutions, including:

  • orphanages,
  • emergency care services,
  • family support centers,
  • day support facilities,
  • community centers,
  • schools,
  • social welfare centers,
  • other local aid and care institutions, regardless of whether they have legal personality or a National Court Register number.

In 2025, 4,343 Poczta Polska (Polish Post) branches were involved in the program, and the total value of in-kind donations amounted to approximately PLN 9 million. The program is developing systematically, and subsequent editions assume further expansion of the scale of activities and the number of branches participating in the collections.

How do I apply for the program?
