We transport bees in accordance with the highest safety standards and in accordance with paragraph of August 21, 1997 on animal protection.
We recommend transporting bees in special, safe packaging for ventilation and strength.
We work with the Polish Association of Bee Mother Breeders. We use expert recommendations to guarantee transport safety and bee well -being.
We increase the awareness of people dealing with transport and minimize the risk of improper handling of shipping thanks to special stickers "Note! Live insects!".

How it works

We transport courier parcels with bee mothers and bee plays.
We use special stickers to identify shipments on the road.
We provide the beekeepers with the support of a dedicated guardian on the Polish Post side.
We guarantee optimal transport conditions: ventilated packaging, transport at temperatures up to 40 ° C, we also take in summer.

Yes . Poczta Polska is the only postal operator in Poland, which legally acts as a carrier of live insects, including bees. Transport takes place in accordance with veterinary recommendations and while maintaining the principles of animal welfare.

The service can be used by both individual bee breeders and companies from the beekeeping and agricultural industries. Shipments can be sent throughout Poland, maintaining certain rules for packaging and reporting a parcel.

Bees must be packed in dedicated, recommended transport packaging that ensure adequate ventilation, stability and insect protection. Detailed packaging instructions are available in our facilities and on the website.

Yes . Each shipment with bees is covered by a dedicated tracking system that allows you to track her path from the sender to the recipient. This ensures full control and security of the parcel during transport.

The shipping period of bees usually falls in spring and summer , when the weather conditions are appropriate (April -September).

Poczta Polska provides priority handling of shipments with bees - they are delivered in D+1 , i.e. the next business day after granting . This means maximum shortening of transport time and greater safety for insects. Shipments are monitored at every stage of the road.

You can send, among others Bee mothers, layouts, bee packages and other parcels of live bees, provided that they meet the requirements for packaging, ventilation and temperature.

Yes. Each shipment with live bees must be properly marked. Mandatory are:
  • sticker "Carefully!"
  • Sticker "Note - live insects".
These markings are aimed at increasing the security of the parcel and ensure its careful treatment during transport and sorting. Poczta Polska employees are trained in servicing this type of shipment.

Yes. Poczta Polska cooperates, among others with the Association of Polish Breeders of Bee Mothers , jointly taking care of the quality of services and promoting good transport practices. It is a guarantee that the service meets the highest industry standards.

To send a parcel with bees, you must:
1. Prepare the parcel in accordance with the guidelines
  • Use a dedicated transport packaging that ensures safety and appropriate conditions (ventilation, stability).
2. Send a parcel at the nearest Poczta Polska facility by reporting the contents of the parcel and marking the parcel with stickers: "Carefully!" and "Note - live insects."
3. Customers of the contract - have the option of courier receipt
  • Customers of the contract (having a contract with Poczta Polska) can use the shipping service by a courier directly from the company's farm or headquarters.
  • This is a convenient option for breeders and companies sending larger amounts of bees or having regular shipments.
