We transport bees in accordance with the highest safety standards and in accordance with the Act of 21 August 1997 on the protection of animals.
We recommend transporting bees in special, safe packaging that ensures ventilation and durability.
We collaborate with the Polish Association of Queen Bee Breeders. We utilize expert recommendations to ensure safe transport and bee welfare.
We increase awareness among those involved in transport and minimize the risk of mishandling shipments with special "Caution! Live Insects!" stickers.

How it works

We transport courier shipments with queen bees and bee nuclei.
We use special labels to identify shipments in transit.
We provide beekeepers with the support of a dedicated supervisor at Poczta Polska.
We guarantee optimal transport conditions: ventilated packaging, transport at temperatures up to 40°C, we also transport in summer.
We have developed a dedicated logistics process with designated storage locations and delivery exclusively by courier.

Yes. Poczta Polska is the only postal operator in Poland that legally operates as a carrier of live insects, including bees. Transport is carried out in accordance with veterinary recommendations and animal welfare principles.

The service is available to both individual beekeepers and businesses in the beekeeping and agricultural industries. Shipments can be sent throughout Poland, subject to specific packaging and reporting guidelines.

Bees must be packed in dedicated, recommended transport packaging that ensures adequate ventilation, stability, and insect protection. Detailed packaging instructions are available at our locations and on our website.

Yes . Every bee shipment is protected by a dedicated tracking system , which allows you to track its journey from sender to recipient. This ensures full control and security of the shipment during transport.

The bee shipping period is usually in spring and summer , when weather conditions are suitable (April–September).

Poczta Polska provides priority handling for bee shipments – they are delivered D+1, i.e., the next business day after posting. This means minimal transit time and greater safety for the insects. Shipments are monitored at every stage of their journey.

You can send items such as queen bees, nucs, bee packages, and other live bee shipments, as long as they meet packaging, ventilation, and temperature requirements.

Yes. Every shipment of live bees must be appropriately marked. The following are mandatory:
  • "Careful!" sticker,
  • "Caution - live insects" sticker.
These markings are intended to increase the security of the shipment and ensure its careful handling during transport and sorting. Poczta Polska employees are trained to handle this type of shipment.

Yes. Poczta Polska cooperates with the Polish Queen Bee Breeders Association , jointly ensuring the quality of service and promoting good transport practices. This guarantees that the service meets the highest industry standards.

To send a parcel with bees, you must:
1. Prepare the shipment according to the guidelines
  • Use dedicated transport packaging that ensures safety and appropriate conditions (ventilation, stability).
2. Send the parcel to the nearest Polish Post office by reporting the contents of the shipment and marking the shipment with stickers: "Carefully!" and “Caution – live insects.”
3. Contractual Customers – have the option of courier pickup
  • Contract customers (those who have a contract with Poczta Polska) can use the courier service to collect their parcel directly from their farm or company headquarters.
  • This is a convenient option for breeders and companies shipping larger quantities of bees or having regular shipments.
