Stamps of the past

In the footsteps of postal traditions

Stamps of the Past is a space where we cultivate postal traditions – memories, symbols, stories, and everyday objects that connect generations. Because there's more to every story – a symbol of a community that endures.

Idea

The program arose from the need to cultivate the heritage of Poczta Polska and build an intergenerational community based on respect, remembrance, and pride in tradition. It is a way to pass on values, history, and a sense of identity from generation to generation.

Goals

  • Preserving and popularizing the heritage of the Polish Post as a common good
  • Supporting education and philatelic passion among children, youth and adults
  • Integrating employees, retirees and families around a shared history and values
  • Building organizational identity

How we work

  • The program is aimed at:
    • Anyone who wants to learn about postal history and make postal traditions come alive in the modern day.
  • Activities carried out under the program include:
    • Educational activities carried out by drawing on postal traditions reflected in the assortment available in our store,
    • Philatelic competitions and workshops (also intergenerational),
    • Support for interest groups and hobby initiatives related to the history of the post office,
    • Events and exhibitions promoting the heritage of the Polish Post,
