Let's get to know each other

Let's Get to Know Each Other is a project of the Poczta Polska Group Foundation, launched in April 2026. We want to get to know as many of our volunteers as possible and thank them for their sensitivity and the heart they put into their social activities.

It is the Pocztowcy (Postmasters) who engage in local collections of in-kind donations as part of the Mapa Dobra (Good Map) , supporting children in the care of as many as 176 social institutions collaborating with the Foundation. These are community volunteering activities based on empathy, mindfulness, and a willingness to respond to the needs of others, undertaken at a grassroots level in institutions across Poland.

Volunteering is more than just a one-time activity. It's an attitude that builds relationships, strengthens local communities, and provides a real sense of impact. It's also a space where everyone can contribute something—their time, energy, and experience.

The project is being carried out at a special time – during the International Year of Volunteers for Sustainable Development (IVY 2026) , established by the United Nations and also implemented in Poland.

The celebrations began on December 5, 2025 , International Volunteer Day, and will last until the end of 2026. This is a time when the importance of social involvement and responsibility for others resonates even more strongly.

The motto of this initiative: "Every gesture matters" best reflects the meaning of the actions of the Postmen - everyday, simple, but having a real impact on the lives of others.

In the second half of 2026,  the Foundation will also launch a grant-based employee volunteering program , which will allow it to develop further social initiatives and engage Postal Workers even more broadly in local activities.
