The Pszczyna Post Office has won the "Benefactor of the Year 2026" in the "Local Partnerships". The award was granted based on a nomination submitted by the Pszczyna Branch of the Polish Association for People with Intellectual Disabilities.
This unique distinction is the result of nearly three decades of cooperation and commitment of the employees of the Post Office in Pszczyna to the children of the Home of Limping Angels.
During the gala, the President of the Management Board of Poczta Polska SA, Magdalena Gaj, personally congratulated the representatives of the Post Office in Pszczyna on receiving the distinction.
On behalf of the Poczta Polska Group Foundation , Marta Schmude, President of the Poczta Polska Group Foundation , also congratulated the winners, emphasizing that postal workers are people with big hearts who, in addition to their daily duties, find space to support those in need.
We would like to thank the Polish Association for People with Intellectual Disabilities, Pszczyna Branch, for submitting this nomination and sharing the history of cooperation that has been connecting employees of the Pszczyna Post Office with the facility’s residents for almost 30 years.
