Foreign postal parcel

This is a registered shipment (priority or economy) with a maximum weight of 20 kg containing items, accepted for transport and delivery to a specified address in the destination country.

Maximum

package dimensions: length + circumference (measured in a direction other than length) = 300 cm, with the maximum length = 150 cm

All dimensions are taken with a tolerance of +/- 2 mm

Contents

The contents of a foreign postal parcel should be detailed on the CP 72 form and, if necessary, copies of the CN 23 customs declaration should be attached. Providing general information is not permitted. The sender may also attach to the parcel any document required for customs clearance in the originating and destination countries, such as an invoice, export permit, import permit, certificate of origin, sanitary certificate, etc. These documents, as well as any additional copies of the CN 23 customs declaration, are placed in a transparent, self-adhesive envelope affixed to the parcel.

If the destination country of the parcel requires more than one customs declaration, you should complete and attach to the parcel additional customs declarations CN 23 on individual forms by completing the CP 72 form.

The sender must confirm, by signing the appropriate text printed on the CP 72 form, that the information provided in the customs declaration is accurate and that the parcel does not contain any dangerous goods prohibited by postal regulations. The sender also confirms, by signing, the accuracy of the information provided on any additional copy of the CN 23 customs declaration that may be attached.

It is not required to complete a customs declaration for parcels sent to European Union countries, however, the sender should confirm with his signature that the parcel does not contain any dangerous item prohibited by postal regulations.

Important!!!

Items in aerosol containers, including deodorants and hairspray, may not be sent in parcels sent abroad by air.

It is prohibited to send postal parcels abroad containing:

  • Items that, due to their nature or packaging, may pose a danger to employees, dirty or damage other shipments or postal equipment or property belonging to third parties
  • Narcotics and psychotropic substances or other illegal narcotic substances prohibited in the country of destination
  • Documents that are current and personal correspondence exchanged between persons other than the Sender and the Addressee or persons living with them
  • Correspondence, with the exception of archival materials, exchanged between persons other than the sender and the addressee or persons residing with them
  • Explosive, flammable, combustible or other hazardous materials
  • Disarmed explosive devices and military equipment, including disarmed grenades, missiles and other similar items, as well as replicas of these devices and items
  • Radioactive substances and infectious substances
  • Indecent and immoral items
  • Counterfeit items and pirated copies
  • Items whose import or trade is prohibited in the country of destination
  • Live animals

Declared value

When sending a parcel, you can declare the value of the items being shipped. For international parcels, countries have different declaration rates, and some countries do not accept parcels with declared value. Details can be found here . The fee for each PLN 50.00 of declared value or fraction thereof is PLN 1.00.
