By implementing the annual Postage Stamp Issue Plan and the Postage Postcard Issue Plan, we are introducing philatelic items into circulation. The principles of our stamp issuance policy, consistent with the spirit of the Universal Postal Convention, stipulate that the topics presented should be closely linked to our country's cultural identity and encompass, above all, events of at least national significance. Therefore, you will find items presenting: cultural and historical heritage, important anniversaries and jubilees, outstanding figures, special events, as well as natural history, geography, science and technology, sports, youth and children, and religion.
