Data in e-Sender
Since March 2013, data in the application has been stored and available for a period of 12 months. For continued data availability, the archive must be saved to the user's local file.
The "Archives" tab contains data and archived files containing shipments. Collections are saved to the archive from the "Received" tab, either at the user's request via a function or automatically if they are older than 30 days.
In the archived collection package, which is assigned the "Archive" status, it is possible to export the collection as an xml or xls file, delete it and make printouts.
To obtain an exported XML file sent to the Post Office, click the "Download (XML)" button. To generate an exported XML file, click the "Download (XML)" button. After completing the above steps, select the target location for the exported file in the explorer window.
WebAPI is a web service that enables the exchange of information between Poczta Polska's Electronic Sender resources and external client software. This allows developers to integrate their own solutions with the service's mechanisms. The Poczta API provides a range of methods that correspond to specific functions of the Electronic Sender service.
If you are a customer of Poczta Polska, please contact your sales representative, who will provide you with appropriate support in preparing the integration.
If you don't have a contract with Poczta Polska or are a developer interested in integrating your own application, please contact us via our hotline. Our staff will help you obtain the necessary information and advise you on how to proceed and what information is required to begin the integration.
Using the WebAPI to prepare shipments requires signing a contract with Poczta Polska. Customers without an account with the Electronic Sender will not be able to use the WebAPI functionality.
XML files should be prepared based on the Data Exchange Interface Specification and the XSD schema. The IWD specification can be downloaded from the website. Downloads are available below.
Data Exchange Interface (DII) is a set of information containing the specification and detailed description of the shipment attributes, data requirements, used to create XML files in a standard enabling their import to the Electronic Sender.
The IWD specification, XSD file and sample XML file can be downloaded from the website below.
This function allows you to check the compliance of a client-generated XML file with the IWD specification. The validator checks the XML file's structure, not the data within it.
You can import three types of files into the Electronic Sender: XML, CSV, and Electronic Shipment Book. XML files must be prepared according to the IWD specifications. The XLS file schema can be found in the application by selecting the XLS file import option.
To import an address book, use the "Import CSV" and "Import XLS" tabs, available in the "Address Book" tab. Data for import should be saved according to a predefined template, available in the tabs mentioned above.
To download the sending book available in the Electronic Sender, click the book export button available in the Address Book tab.
