Responsible business

POCZTA POLSKA SA is one of the largest employers in Poland. The company's unique nature and mission dictate that its social responsibility activities are directed at a very wide range of stakeholders.

Poczta Polska employs nearly 63,000 employees, delivering over three million letters and parcels daily. With such a large scale of operations, the company's social impact, its promotion of ethical conduct, and the professional development of relationships with customers, partners, and employees are of significant importance to the company's social environment.

In April 2022, we published our first Corporate Social Responsibility Report , outlining how the company is committed to the common good of its employees, local communities, and the environment. The report consists of 24 thematic pages describing the internal organization of our company and its social activities. The document meets the criteria of the international GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) reporting system, a standard used for non-financial reporting by companies worldwide.

This report provides a wealth of information related to employment structure and remuneration, supporting employee social aspirations, employment of people with disabilities, mechanisms for combating mobbing and discrimination at work, and corruption prevention. The material also addresses cooperation with social partners, environmental protection, and active education and programs to strengthen national identity.

For over ten years, Poczta Polska has been developing the "Postal Gift" Foundation , which supports more than just the company's employees. Educational programs, charitable initiatives, and activities related to national security best characterize the Foundation's daily activities.

Since the beginning of the war, "Pocztowy Dar" (Postal Gift) has been supporting crisis-stricken Ukraine across our eastern border. Collecting donations, purchasing essential supplies, and organizing humanitarian aid transports are just some of the many initiatives undertaken to support refugees and their loved ones. Pocztowy Dar (Postal Gift) has also become involved in helping Ukraine, organizing fundraising events across Poland.

We were one of the first large organizations in Poland to respond to the aggression against Ukraine and quickly organized our employees and volunteers to help war refugees.

Poczta Polska promotes cooperation with the Territorial Defense Forces (WOT) and encourages its employees to join the ranks of the "Territorials." In May 2022, the company launched the "Shoulder to Shoulder with WOT" , which promotes patriotic attitudes among employees and creates attractive conditions for combining work with service to national defense and security.

Poczta Polska, with its network of 7,500 branches located throughout Poland, also constitutes a territorial network system in itself, enabling it to join forces and cooperate with the Territorial Defense Forces to support and defend local communities. Additionally, as a designated operator, the company performs tasks related to cooperation with the Military Field Post Office and participates in the mobilization deployment of the Polish Armed Forces.

Poczta Polska also launched a shooting training program for its employees. It took just a few days for as many as 1,000 employees to sign up in August 2022.
