Polish_post_collection_at_point_9_Poczta Polska recorded a more than two-fold increase in parcels delivered to collection points in the first half of 2019 compared to the same period last year. This means that one in four parcels shipped was delivered to a network comprised of post offices, Żabka/Freshmarket stores, PKN Orlen gas stations, and Ruch kiosks and kiosks. There are now over 11,600 such points across Poland.

Poczta Polska (Polish Post) recorded the highest growth in parcel collection volumes at PKN Orlen gas stations and Żabka stores. At the same time, a strong upward trend in parcel collections at post offices continues, with over half of the parcel volume sent to the Click & Collect network being collected there.

The latest data shows that almost the same volume of parcels was sent to the Poczta Polska Collection Point network in the first half of 2019 as in the entire year of 2018. Among the main advantages of the Collection Point service, Poczta Polska customers value the proximity of the location, high delivery efficiency (parcels wait for collection for at least 7 days without additional fees), and flexible collection hours (possibility of collection of parcels late in the evening and on weekends).

Due to the dynamic development of e-commerce in Poland, Poczta Polska plans to increase the number of points by several hundred, especially in areas with high potential for this form of delivery, so that by the end of this year the click&collect network will include over 12,500 collection points.

Compared to last year's data, in the first five months of 2019 the Company recorded an increase in the volume of parcel and courier services, with the highest increase in courier services (+20.9% y/y).
