Poczta Polska has signed an agreement with the Central Statistical Office

1024-400 (1)Following a successful tender announced by the Central Statistical Office, Poczta Polska will deliver unaddressed forms as part of the 2021 National Population and Housing Census. Poczta Polska will deliver over 15 million letters from the President of the Central Statistical Office across Poland. The National Census begins on April 1, 2021.

The subject of the concluded contract is the provision of postal services in the field of receipt, transport and delivery of unaddressed forms relating to the National Census of Population and Housing 2021.

As part of the partnership, Poczta Polska will collect shipments from the Statistical Publishing Department of the Central Statistical Office (GUS) in Radom, prepare correspondence through the Printing and Packaging Department in Warsaw, and distribute them throughout Poland. By May 18th, Poczta Polska will deliver over 15 million letters from the President of the Central Statistical Office to all address points in the country. The letter contains information on the rules for conducting and implementing the census. Due to the pandemic and to maintain safety guidelines, this year's census will be conducted online. Additional methods include a telephone census or interviews conducted by a census enumerator.

The distribution of mass correspondence carried out as part of the National Census is another element of the implementation of the Company's strategy as a trusted and effective entity in achieving the State's strategic goals and a reliable partner in communication with citizens.

In 2020, Poczta Polska participated in nearly 1,900 tenders for postal services, winning 96.5% of them. The company's offer was deemed the most advantageous in tenders for the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) for 2021–2023, the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund (KRUS) for 2021–2022, and the Polish Oil and Gas Company (PGNiG) for 2021–2022, among others.

The 2021 National Population and Housing Census will be conducted on April 1, 2021. The census is the largest study and data source in the field of population statistics, aimed at collecting information on the population's condition and structure according to established demographic and socio-professional characteristics, at a given point in time and within a given territory. Census results enable the analysis and assessment of the diversity of demographic and social changes across various cross-sections. These data inform key economic and social decisions for the coming years. Participation in the census is mandatory.
