Digital Post. e-Delivery – electronic equivalents of paper registered mail.

e-Delivery is an essential link in the ongoing digitization of services for citizens, responding to the growing popularity of electronic solutions . The service is provided by the Designated Operator, Poczta Polska, in accordance with the Delivery . It's worth noting that in recent years, electronic signatures have gained popularity, slowly replacing handwritten signatures , while e-prescriptions have completely replaced paper prescriptions. E-Delivery is consistent with this trend.

Services provided through e-Delivery are the digital equivalent of paper registered mail. They allow citizens and businesses to send and receive electronic documents, confirmed by proof of posting and receipt, from anywhere with internet access. Instead of in-person visits to a post office, physically receiving and sending registered mail, and archiving paper correspondence, these can now be conveniently done electronically.

e-Delivery offers access to all matters in one place. Thanks to unique electronic delivery addresses (ADE), assigned upon request by the Minister responsible for computerization, we can be sure that we are corresponding with the correct recipient. Furthermore, e-Delivery allows us to verify the status of our correspondence through real-time proofs at every stage of the process (such as the date of posting and delivery confirmed by a qualified time stamp).

As part of its e-Delivery service, Poczta Polska offers a public registered electronic delivery service ( PURDE ), which enables communication with public entities, as well as a public hybrid service (PUH), available only to public entities acting as senders. The public hybrid service (PUH) was introduced as a solution for recipients who choose not to establish an electronic delivery address. In such cases, correspondence will be sent electronically by the public entity and, after being automatically printed and enveloped in a designated, access-controlled zone (compliant with the ISO 27001 standard), delivered by the postman in paper form.

It is worth noting that sending correspondence via PURDE by non-public entities (including citizens and companies) to public entities is free of charge.

Registered electronic delivery is a response to the expectations of Poczta Polska

For years, e-Delivery has been successfully provided by European countries such as Italy, Belgium, France, and the Czech Republic. The choice of national postal services, acting as Designated Operators, to provide this service is fully justified and has often been dictated by public intentions. This is supported by experience, postal infrastructure, correspondence security, and confidentiality.

This proven solution in many European Union countries has been recognized for its potential as a Designated Operator. Currently, the company is pursuing its main strategic goal, focusing on investing in the digitization of traditional services.

Q-Delivery – an additional trust service for companies and individuals

Poczta Polska was the first in Poland to develop a qualified registered electronic delivery service, which it introduced in January of this year under the name Q-Delivery. The new service complements the e-Delivery offering with communication between private entities, including individuals and businesses. The company views it as a future-proof form of communication, combining the advantages of registered mail and email while eliminating the drawbacks of both.

With Q-Delivery, you can communicate securely and quickly with individuals and businesses, receiving proof of dispatch and receipt, including a qualified time stamp. An electronic delivery address (ADE) is assigned upon request by the Minister responsible for information technology, after verifying the requester's identity. This ensures that correspondence reaches the intended recipient and was sent by the identified sender. Furthermore, the use of a qualified time stamp also guarantees accurate dispatch and receipt times.
