Bank Pocztowy is ready to provide its customers with e-Delivery services

Bank Pocztowy has conducted tests of Poczta Polska's new e-Delivery service, which aims to replace traditional paper correspondence sent to individuals, offices, and businesses. After implementing the new solution, instead of in-person visits to a post office, physically receiving and sending registered letters, and archiving paper correspondence, it will be possible to send documents electronically. This innovation is a result of the convenience for citizens in the form of an electronic address for e-Delivery, which will take effect in October 2024. Bank Pocztowy conducted tests using the API interface provided by Poczta Polska.

Services provided through e-Delivery are the digital equivalent of paper registered mail. Thanks to e-Delivery, citizens and businesses can send and receive electronic documents, confirmed by proof of posting and receipt, from anywhere with internet access. Over 250,000 people already use the service. Electronic deliveries have the same legal force as traditional registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt.

The development of the service is expected to lead in the near future to a gradual reduction in the distribution of paper registered letters between the administration and citizens and companies.

E-Delivery offers access to all matters in one place. Using unique Electronic Delivery Addresses (ADE), assigned by the Minister responsible for IT, we can be sure we're corresponding with the correct person or institution. Furthermore, e-Delivery allows us to verify the status of our correspondence through real-time proofs at every stage of the process (such as the date of posting and delivery confirmed by a qualified time stamp).

To implement the e-Delivery system, you must submit a request for access to the e-Delivery integration environment and provide public IP addresses for communication. More detailed information about the e-Delivery service is available on the gov.pl website. We also encourage you to contact the Poczta Polska team at kontakt@poczta-polska.pl for implementation consultations.
