Bank Pocztowy, Mastercard and Caritas issue a joint card
Customers of Bank Pocztowy can now use the new Mastercard card, thanks to which they can make everyday payments without any additional effort, supporting people in need, who are covered by the UratujęCię program prepared by Caritas, Bank Pocztowy and Mactercard.
At the beginning of April 2019, Bank Pocztowy launched a new contactless Mastercard card with the Caritas Polska logo. This collaboration, which is the closest to local communities, a leader in the payment solutions market, and Poland's largest social organization, not only promotes safe and convenient cashless payments but, above all, supports those in need through the UratujęCię (I'll Rescue You) aid program. As part of this program, a new online charity crowdfunding platform was created: https://uratujecie.pl/ .
Now, by applying for a Mastercard with the Caritas logo for their account at Bank Pocztowy, customers automatically join the UratujęCię program. Immediately after activating the card, they can collect points when paying for purchases. These points are then converted into donations for those in need. Points are earned for transactions in physical or online stores operated by 70 retail partners of the Mastercard Priceless Specials loyalty program. UratujęCię is a so-called individual program created as part of Priceless Specials and utilizes the points-collection mechanism in Mastercard's loyalty program. Thanks to this, numerous renowned retail brands have been invited to participate; a full list of these is available on Priceless Specials website . Every 340 points earned by a consumer translates into 5 PLN in aid for those using the UratujęCię program. The number of points awarded for purchases varies among retail partners. At the same time, collecting points can be significantly accelerated by taking advantage of their periodic special offers.
From April 1 this year, customers can apply for a new card to support the goals of the Caritas program – both as a first and additional card to their account at Bank Pocztowy.
