We will deliver parcels from Poland offered on the Shopee platform
Starting in April of this year, expanding its partnership with one of the largest e-commerce platforms operating in Europe, among other markets, Poczta Polska will deliver parcels containing goods from local Polish sellers ordered through the platform. As a reminder, Poczta Polska became a strategic partner of Shopee at the end of last year.
" By expanding our cooperation, the existing partnership between Poczta Polska and Shopee has become comprehensive. We offer our clients solutions tailored to the nature of the international platform, enabling them to benefit from a secure and convenient method of delivering and receiving parcels from foreign and domestic businesses. We also meet the needs and expectations of shoppers through Shopee, " said Andrzej Bodziony, Vice President of the Management Board of Poczta Polska.
Since April of this year, buyers have been able to benefit from parcel delivery via Poczta Polska for purchases from both foreign and domestic sellers. Parcels from Polish sellers will be delivered to collection points using the D+1 standard (Pocztex courier service), meaning within one day of shipment.
You can order parcels to be delivered to your address or to one of 17,000 collection points across the country. You can see their locations here.
The largest network of collection points in Poland includes Poczta Polska's own branches and partner chains (including Żabka, Biedronka, Lewiatan, ABC Stores, Delikatesy Centrum, Ruch points, and Orlen gas stations). As part of its partnership with Shopee, Poczta Polska will also offer delivery to Pocztex vending machines. 2,000 machines are planned to be operational by the end of this year.
Pocztex is Poczta Polska's flagship courier service, launched in a new version at the end of last year. It offers convenient and quick shipping, payment, and tracking of parcels via the website www.pocztex.pl. Customers can also generate and print address labels themselves, including labels with the option of making payment later, for example, at the courier or a post office. Poczta Polska also signed an agreement to implement a comprehensive IT solution, including a mobile app for smartphones and, for computer users, access to a dedicated Customer Panel.
Developing its courier offerings and building a strong competitive position in the e-commerce segment is one of Poczta Polska's priorities. According to the adopted assumptions, the goal is to double the company's revenue from the courier segment by 2024.
