CERT Poczta Polska warns - another phishing campaign
CERT Poczta Polska informs about a phishing campaign sent via SMS in which cybercriminals impersonate Poczta Polska.
The messages are currently being sent from British numbers (+44) and numbers registered in Thailand (+66) and contain information about the impossibility of sending the parcel and encourage people to click on a suspicious link.
Poczta Polska urges customers to be wary of messages with similar subject lines and content containing suspicious links or attachments. Avoid clicking on links or opening attachments in suspicious emails.
We would like to remind you that the correct website address of Poczta Polska is https://www.poczta-polska.pl and the address for tracking parcels is: https://emonitoring.poczta-polska.pl/ .
Simple rules for staying safe online:
- Don't open suspicious links, especially from strangers
- Beware of all kinds of "deals" on the internet
- Verify the authenticity of the request or information received
- If you have been the victim of an attack, report the matter to your bank and law enforcement as soon as possible. Issues related to Poczta Polska (e.g., those using the Poczta Polska logo) should also be reported to CERT Poczta Polska, which operates 24/7, by sending a message to the following address: fakt@poczta-polska.pl .
