Paris, 1835. Twenty-five-year-old Fryderyk Chopin is at the peak of his career – frequenting salons, captivating the aristocracy, delighting the King of France and audiences across Europe. This is the period when he creates his most important works, and every night brings a new concert or ball.

Michał Kwieciński's film reveals an unknown side of the composer – one full of passion, wit, and a yearning for freedom. It's the story of a man for whom love and music become the meaning of life.

"Chopin, Chopin!" is one of the most ambitious undertakings in Polish cinema in recent years. Over 600 people, 260 actors, and as many as 5,000 extras, participated in the production. Impressive costumes, meticulously reconstructed interiors, and the atmosphere of 19th-century Paris create an evocative backdrop for this unique story.

Eryk Kulm, winner of the Eagle Award and the Zbyszek Cybulski Award, takes on the title role. He is joined by Joséphine de La Baume as George Sand, Lambert Wilson as King Louis Philippe I, and Maja Ostaszewska, Karolina Gruszka, Dominika Ostałowska, Kamil Szeptycki, and Martyna Byczkowska.

Filming took place in Poland, France, and Spain, including Bordeaux, Mallorca, and Lower Silesia. The film's music was provided by a team of experts from the Fryderyk Chopin Institute.
