Every fifth parcel is collected by customers from the network of Poczta Polska collection points.
In December 2018, Poczta Polska customers used the Pick-Up Point service twice as often as a year earlier. One in five parcels was collected from the Click & Collect postal network, which now includes 11,000 locations.
The Poczta Polska (Polish Post) click&collect network, as announced, has expanded to 11,000 locations and includes post offices, PKN Orlen gas stations, Żabka and Freshmarket stores, and Ruch kiosks and kiosks. It is the largest network of its kind in Poland. Thanks to this network, Poczta Polska customers can collect their parcels at a location of their choice, at a time convenient for them. The availability of these locations means that customers are increasingly using this method of collecting online purchases.
In 2018, there were almost 60% more of them than in 2017, and in December, even twice as many as during the same period the previous year. Poczta Polska expects that this year the dynamics of parcels collected at these collection points will reach at least 150%.
The dynamic growth in the number of parcels ordered at collection points confirms that the strategy adopted by Poczta Polska is aligned with customer expectations. Poles value the convenience of shopping and the ability to collect their items wherever is most convenient. The Collection at POINT service meets these expectations, which is why Poczta Polska will expand its network to several hundred more collection points in the coming months.
Picking up a parcel at a collection point is very simple. The customer who orders a parcel receives a notification from Poczta Polska that the parcel has been delivered to the selected collection point. The text message or email includes the parcel number, address, and pickup code. The customer has 7 days from the date of notification to collect the parcel. Furthermore, tracking is available from the time of shipment until delivery to the selected collection point.
The Pick-up Point network is Poczta Polska's fastest-growing delivery channel. Customers decide where and when to collect their parcels. This is particularly important for online shoppers who spend most of their time away from home.
