Every fifth package customers receive in the network of receipt points of Poczta Polska

Pspo_stronapp-boxIn December 2018, customers of Poczta Polska used the service in a point twice as often as a year ago. Every fifth package was picked up in the click & collect postal network, which already includes 11 thousand. points.

The Click & Collect network of Poczta Polska, as announced, increased to 11,000 points and include post offices, PKN Orlen stations, Żabka and Freshmarket stores, as well as kiosks and traffic centers. This is the largest network of this type in Poland. Thanks to it, customers of Poczta Polska have the opportunity to collect their shipment in a place of their choice with a convenient time. The availability of points means that customers are increasingly using this form of receiving online purchases.

In 2018, there were almost 60% more than in 2017, and even twice as much as a year earlier in the same period. Poczta Polska expects that this year the dynamics of parcels received at points will be at least 150%.

The dynamic increase in the number of shipments ordered to reception points confirms that the strategy adopted by the post is consistent with the expectations of customers. Poles value the convenience of shopping and the opportunity to pick them up where it is the most convenient. The collection service at the point meets these expectations, which is why in the coming months Poczta Polska will develop a network by another several hundred points.

The package pickup service at the point is very simple. The customer ordering the parcel receives a notification from Poczta Polska about the delivery of a package to the selected point. SMS or e-mail contains the package number as well as the address and collection code. The customer has 7 days to collect the parcel from the time of receipt of the notification. In addition, it is possible to track the parcel from the moment of sending the package to the selected pickup point.

The Reception Network at the point is the fastest growing supply channel in Poczta Polska. It is the customer who decides where and when he is to report for his shipment. This is particularly important for buyers in e-stores who are outside the place of residence for most of the day.
