Dynamic sales growth at post offices
During the pandemic, masks and antibacterial gels have been selling very well at Poczta Polska branches. Sales of mailboxes have also increased since mid-March.
In April of this year, mailbox sales increased eightfold compared to April 2019. Since April 22, registered mail can be delivered directly to mailboxes rather than to the recipient due to the pandemic. This solution was introduced to ensure greater safety for postal workers and customers. This allows for increased contactless delivery of parcels. A condition for receiving a parcel in a mailbox is to place it in a place accessible to the postman, in accordance with postal law. Reusable protective masks are very popular among postal services customers. Over the past month, Poczta Polska has sold tens of thousands of these Polish-made products.
