E-Delivery excludes no one. Don't have an inbox? The post office will print and deliver the letter to you.

Starting January 1st, public entities (e.g., local governments, the Tax Office, etc.) and professions of trust (e.g., attorneys, legal counselors) will be required to implement e-Delivery. Citizens will decide for themselves whether to set up a digital inbox. For those who, for various reasons, do not want or cannot use electronic delivery, Poczta Polska has introduced a hybrid service. Special machines will print and package addressed parcels, and postmen will deliver them traditionally.

The e-Delivery service enables secure online communication – not only between public administration and citizens, but also between companies and individuals. Poczta Polska has been providing such services for three years. E-Delivery will gradually replace traditional registered mail, guaranteeing the same legal validity as paper correspondence and greater security.

E-Delivery is the digital equivalent of registered mail, allowing you to send and receive documents with confirmation of posting and receipt from anywhere with internet access. Instead of receiving a delivery note, physically picking up and sending registered mail at a post office, and archiving paper correspondence, you can do it without leaving your home or office. The service works similarly to email, but is more secure. Thanks to unique electronic delivery addresses (ADE), assigned at the request of the Minister of Digital Affairs, you can be sure that you are corresponding with the correct recipient.

Who is the Public Hybrid Service for and how does it work?

Some fear that, due to factors such as digital exclusion, they will be deprived of the ability to receive official letters from institutions or other entities. This is unnecessary. For all citizens who cannot or do not wish to use e-Delivery, Poczta Polska provides a Public Hybrid Service (PUH).

How does it work? An electronic shipment, for example, from an office to a recipient without an e-delivery mailbox, is transferred to the Polish Post system, where it is automatically printed and enveloped in specialized centers in a secure, access-controlled zone, and then traditionally delivered to the recipient.

In recent months, Poczta Polska has seen dynamic growth in its hybrid service, with the number of parcels produced steadily increasing. In October, over 11 million pages were printed. Therefore, the company purchased new machines to power its Printing and Packaging Centers in Piła and Łódź. Among them is the Kern 3600, a high-performance system capable of inserting up to 24,000 parcels per hour. Furthermore, the centers have been equipped with additional Canon printing machines, capable of up to 328 pages per minute with a maximum monthly workload of 10 million A4 pages.

Safety guarantee

Poczta Polska guarantees the highest level of security for its hybrid service, meeting security requirements for printing, packaging, scanning, and document processing. Furthermore, it ensures compliance with postal secrecy, i.e., information transmitted in shipments and the data of entities using postal services.
