25 postal meetings with writers
The Warsaw meeting is the 25th event organized by Poczta Polska as part of its nationwide series of author meetings. For almost a year, Poczta Polska has been inviting readers and authors of books available for sale to its branches. So far, readers have had the opportunity to meet Justyna Jelińska, Monika Wawrzyńska, Agnieszka Lis, Krystyna Mirek, Katarzyna Majgier, and Teresa Godlewska, among others, in various cities across Poland. Fans of Sławomir Koper's books have had three opportunities to meet him so far – at post offices in Chorzów, Rzeszów, and Lublin.
During the events, participants can listen to conversations with authors, purchase their books, often at promotional prices, get a personal dedication and autograph, take part in games with prizes, and take a souvenir photo with the author.
Poczta Polska also strives to combine author meetings with other activities, including through collaboration with the Daj Herbatę Foundation, which supports people experiencing homelessness. The company's contractors also participate in these activities.
