The Polish Post's grand sports event kicks off on October 16th! Participants will support those supported by the Pocztowy Dar Foundation.

triadPoczta Polska, together with its partners from the Poczta Polska Capital Group, invites all sports and healthy lifestyle enthusiasts to participate in the Virtual Sports Triad, which will take place from October 16th to 31st of this year. Following the success of last year's edition, which featured nearly 1,500 runners competing against each other, the company is expanding the event to include new disciplines – walking and cycling. The aim of this sports initiative is to celebrate the anniversary of the birth of the founder of Poczta Polska – King Sigismund II Augustus – and to provide financial support to beneficiaries of the "Pocztowy Dar" Foundation. Registration is open until the last day of the competition.

Virtual sports initiatives, launched last year, offer an alternative during the pandemic to the long-running Poczta Polska (Polish Post) race. In 2020, the event, previously organized exclusively for employees, was replaced for the first time with an open race, in which anyone could participate at any location and at their chosen distance (2 km, 5 km, 10 km, or a triad run). Nearly 1,500 people ran with Poczta Polska. This impressive number of participants in the event, organized by the company, places it among the largest virtual races organized in Poland last year.

Drawing on last year's positive experiences and listening to the voices of supporters of other popular sports, Poczta Polska is inviting walking enthusiasts and cycling fans (and, as always, runners!) to participate in the Virtual Sports Triad. Each participant will have the opportunity to choose a distance appropriate for their fitness level and health – 2 km (run), 5 km (run/walk), 10 km (run/walk/cycling), or 15 km (cycling). Thanks to this flexibility, amateur or occasional athletes can also participate in the Virtual Sports Triad without fear of the unpleasant consequences of strenuous exertion. In the three disciplines, participants can participate in any distance or in a premium distance: 5 km walk – 10 km run – 15 km cycle.

The Virtual Sports Triad will last two weeks – from October 16 to 31. The event partners are companies from the Poczta Polska Capital Group: Envelo, Postdata, Bank Pocztowy, Poczta Polska Dystrybucja and Pocztylion – Arka PTE.

The company's sports initiative is one way to celebrate the Postmen's Day – the 501st birthday of King Sigismund II Augustus, whose life is linked to the founding of the Polish Post. Each Triada participant will receive a commemorative medal and a set of gifts (including a running scarf, a philatelic publication, and a commemorative race number).

Importantly, just like last year, participants in the Virtual Sports Triad will support the "Pocztowy Dar" Foundation (with a 5 PLN donation to charity from each starter pack purchased). The money will go to, among other things, small, local sports clubs that bring together talented young (and not only) sports enthusiasts. Depending on whether participants choose to participate in one or three disciplines, the starter pack costs 49 PLN or 59 PLN. For an additional fee, you can also purchase a commemorative, high-quality technical T-shirt.

Last year, nearly 14,000 złoty was raised from the packages and individual donations from Virtual Run participants. The money went to two football clubs: Lesznowola Sports Club (whose players lost their training equipment in a warehouse fire) and GKS Mazowsze (almost all of their sports equipment was destroyed in a warehouse fire). The funds donated by the Pocztowy Dar Foundation were used to purchase essential training equipment. Thanks to the participants of the Poczta Polska Virtual Run, we also managed to help children from the Dance Crew Dance School in Bydgoszcz. The building where the young people trained was flooded. The funds donated by the Pocztowy Dar Foundation enabled the replacement of the dance floor in the practice room and the purchase of sound equipment.

You can register to participate in the Poczta Polska Virtual Sports Triad via the website until the last day of the event.

We cordially invite you to participate in sports competitions and help!
