Poczta Polska offers a wide range of services perfectly tailored to the holiday season and the needs of those planning to travel for their vacations and therefore won't be available to collect their parcels. Customers can choose from parcel redirection to a specified address, parcel storage, or poste restante – an option that allows parcels to be collected at any Poczta Polska branch nationwide. Services can be easily booked, including online.
Due to holidays and travel outside of home, receiving mail can be significantly more difficult. Poczta Polska offers a wide range of parcel delivery services, giving customers the opportunity to choose the option best suited to their individual needs.
For those planning longer vacations, Poczta Polska offers a service that allows you to extend the storage period at a post office from the standard 14 days to up to four weeks from the first delivery attempt. Activation of the " Shipment Storage" can be requested electronically or in paper form. If you choose the latter option, the printed and completed form should be submitted in person at the post office or given to the postman. The fee depends on the storage period and is charged upon each shipment pickup, according to the Poczta Polska price list available on the website.
During vacations, the "Delivery on Request" . This service allows the customer to redeliver a registered parcel with a pre-notified letter to the address provided on the package. This service allows the customer to choose the most convenient date and time slot for collecting the pre-notified parcel. Please note that collection is available at the post office that delivers the pre-notified parcel within the normal operating hours. The service can be activated electronically using the e-form available on the website, by phone, or with the postman. The cost is 4.50 PLN.
For customers who don't always reside at one address but wish to receive their mail, Poczta Polska recommends the Poste Restante . This allows you to collect your shipment at any post office of your choice. When using this service, it's important that the shipment is properly addressed. The following information should be provided: the recipient's first and last name or full name, the word "Poste Restante," the correct postal code, and the name of the post office that will deliver the shipment. Shipments sent via Poste Restante are delivered at the price of the service chosen by the customer, with no additional charge.
Redirect service allows you to redirect your parcel to a specified address. It's an excellent option for customers changing their home or residence address. To use it, simply complete an electronic or paper form available on the Poczta Polska website. The paper form can be given to the postman or submitted in person at a post office to ensure parcels are delivered to the new address. Submitting a request using the electronic form requires additional identity authentication through a trusted profile or in person at the delivery office. Customers submitting a request using the electronic form incur no additional costs. Those submitting a request at a post office pay a one-time fee of PLN 6.00. The fee for redirecting the parcel depends on the type of parcel. The request is processed for a maximum of 12 months from the date of submission. The service period can be extended.
It is worth remembering that the above services do not include: documents in criminal, civil, court-administrative, administrative, tax proceedings and documents in cases concerning violation of public finance discipline, PACZKA24, PACZKA48, Paczka+ and Pocztex shipments.
