We are with you – send a card to the uniformed officers at the border
On the National Independence Day, Poczta Polska joins the #WallForPolishMundurem social campaign, supporting soldiers and officers of the Border Guard and Police who are currently serving on the Polish-Belarusian border, protecting our common security.
Starting November 15th, dedicated and specially marked containers will be available at 24-hour post offices across the country, where anyone can drop off cards or handmade works expressing symbolic support, gratitude, and thanks for service. Poczta Polska will distribute these free of charge to members of uniformed services.
Recently, an initiative called #WuremZaPolskimMundurem (#WallBehindPolishMundurem) emerged on social media, supporting the uniformed services defending our country's borders and ensuring the safety of all Poles. One expression of this initiative was the display of illuminations with the campaign's slogan on the Sejm building, as well as numerous other initiatives undertaken across Poland. You can demonstrate your solidarity with the campaign in various ways, such as by displaying a flag. The Polish Post is also joining the campaign.
"We cordially invite and encourage everyone to join the campaign and send kind words to the people who are dedicated to protecting the integrity of the Polish border. Let us show them our support and gratitude for their service in defense of our common security. We are initiating our campaign on National Independence Day, which is a special reminder that Poles are a steadfast nation. Especially during this special time, let us unite by expressing our gratitude, pride, and respect to our soldiers and officers. Let them know that we stand steadfastly behind them! " says Tomasz Zdzikot, CEO of Poczta Polska.
Poczta Polska also plans to publish and make available electronically a special album with the submitted works as a summary of the campaign.
