Already 200 countries and territories to which you can send a letter via Poczta Polska

Following restrictions related to the Covid-19 pandemic, Poczta Polska customers can now send parcels to over 200 countries – including correspondence, documents, and goods. Letters and parcels in international trade can be tracked online from the moment they are sent until they are received by the recipient.

Poczta Polska (Polish Post) offers shipments to the most remote corners of the world. Customers can choose from a wide range of services, depending on the destination: EMS, parcel post, or letter shipments – standard, registered, with declared value, and Global Express. Poczta Polska, in cooperation with foreign operators, is gradually expanding the list of countries to which shipments can be sent. However, it's worth remembering that some once-accessible destinations are still inaccessible to postal traffic due to the pandemic or ongoing wars. This is primarily due to transport restrictions and the ability of other operators to provide transit services.

"We strive to ensure our offering is as broad as possible. Thanks to our collaboration with international partners, we can currently send postal letters to 200 countries and territories, parcels to 180, and EMS to approximately 100. We offer our customers not only a variety of services but also promotions and special offers. Those sending parcels to Ukraine, for example, can take advantage of our very competitive prices," says Daniel Witowski, spokesperson for Poczta Polska.

For international shipments, as with domestic shipments, additional services are available: online tracking, delivery confirmation, return shipping, and insurance. Shipping to countries outside the European Union requires customs clearance.

The EMS service currently operates in 95 countries. It allows you to send documents and goods approved for postal transport. Shipments can be sent from selected post offices and couriers, in special packaging (Document Pack and Kilo Pack) or in the customer's own packaging.

International parcel shipping is currently available to nearly 180 countries and territories. Goods can be shipped this way, with the exception of dangerous items prohibited by postal regulations (detailed information, broken down by country, can be found on the Poczta Polska website ). The maximum parcel weight is 20 kg and can be shipped as economy, priority, or insured.

Global Express now allows you to send correspondence, documents, and items to 33 countries and territories. This service is an alternative to courier services and allows you to send correspondence, documents, and small items approved for postal delivery (e.g., CDs, books, product samples, and small items ordered from online stores) weighing up to 2 kg.

Poczta Polska is systematically expanding and enhancing its range of international shipping services for both individual and business customers. This also applies to heavy shipments. These can be sent using the International Pallet Shipping service, and can be packaged and placed on a pallet (or other cargo unit) or unpalletized. This service is available for shipping goods from Poland to selected European countries, from Europe to Poland, or between selected European countries, without transiting through Poland. Shipping goods to the Czech Republic and Slovakia can be availed of promotional prices until April 1st.
