You can now hand in your card to border guards at Polish Post offices. We're expanding our campaign nationwide.
Starting November 15th, anyone wishing to thank uniformed units for their dedicated service can offer their support at one of 4,700 post offices across the country. Poczta Polska is joining the #WallForPolishMundurem social media campaign, supporting soldiers, Border Guard officers, and Police officers currently serving on the Polish-Belarusian border, safeguarding our common security.
Recently, an initiative called #WuremZaPolskimMundurem (#WallBehindPolishMundurem , supporting the uniformed services defending our country's borders and ensuring the safety of all Poles. Following the announcement by the Polish Post on Independence Day that a postcard drive for border defenders had been launched, numerous requests appeared on social media to expand its reach.
Due to the great interest in the #WallBehindPolishUniform campaign, we have decided to expand it nationwide. We cordially encourage you to send warm words of thanks and expressions of support for the work of soldiers, Border Guard officers, and Police officers serving on the Polish-Belarusian border, via Polish Post.
At every post office and branch office nationwide, you can drop off cards or handmade works of any size, expressing symbolic support, gratitude, and thanks to the uniformed services for their dedicated work on the Polish-Belarusian border. Poczta Polska is also providing 20 post offices in Poland's largest cities, which will have dedicated and specially marked containers for collected cards and cards. These will be delivered free of charge to border posts.
The company also plans to publish and make available electronically a special album with the submitted works as a summary of the campaign.
Rules of the action:
- we do not put a stamp on the cards;
- instead of the address, enter the slogan: "To the Defenders of the Border";
- you can additionally indicate specific people or the name of the unit in which they serve, those to whom we address our words of support;
- do not send addressed parcels or parcels in closed envelopes, as such parcels will not be delivered by the Company as part of the campaign;
- cards or greetings should be handed in at the post office window in one of the 4,700 post offices (offices or branches, but not at a postal agency) or placed in a dedicated container.
