EnveloBank and Bank Pocztowy under one brand

postal_bank_all_under_one_roofSoon, all retail customers of Bank Pocztowy and existing EnveloBank customers will benefit from a new online banking experience based on EnveloBank's modern solutions. Bank Pocztowy will provide the broad offerings and experience of a secure Polish bank under one roof, as well as access to modern digital solutions in the form of online banking under the joint name Pocztowy24 and the mobile app Pocztowy.

The full migration of retail customers to modern digital banking, which will be completed in August 2021, is a significant step in the digital services strategy. By combining brands and customer migration, the Bank will offer all its customers features such as BLIK transfers, telephone loans, and opening current accounts with video identity verification, as well as support for postal services. The migration is part of the Bank's long-term strategy to become a more digital institution, offering all customers the latest technological solutions. The brand merging project will be promoted by long-time Bank Pocztowy ambassador Adam Małysz.

Bank Pocztowy is embracing EnveloBank's modern technology—but under the Bank Pocztowy brand. The entire process will begin in the first half of March 2021. It will involve migrating EnveloBank's solutions to Bank Pocztowy, and all existing retail customers of both brands to a single, shared Pocztowy24 online banking platform and Pocztowy mobile banking (EnveloBank's current platform under a new name). Products will also be unified—they will now appear under the single Bank Pocztowy brand. The bank will also discontinue its two online news websites in favor of a single one, available at www.pocztowy.pl . Adam Małysz, a longtime ambassador for Bank Pocztowy and one of Poland's most decorated and recognizable athletes, will be involved in communication and marketing activities promoting the merger.

The merger of the Bank Pocztowy and EnveloBank brands will enable the unification of the bank's product offerings. Customers will gain broader access to advanced services and solutions offered by the bank, such as BLIK, the Calendar module for payment planning, the module for quick invoice payments, and the Autopay application for automatic highway toll payments. Ultimately, this will also accelerate the implementation and dissemination of new products, such as online loans.

In line with its development strategy for 2021–2024, Bank Pocztowy is focused on creating value for its stakeholders, understood, among other things, as the digitization of processes and the dissemination of the latest technologies as part of its pursuit of inclusive digitalization. In the near future, Bank Pocztowy plans to develop BLIK mobile payments, including mobile transfers, and to create the option of opening a current account or taking out a loan over the phone using video verification technology.
