Poczta Polska customers can collect parcels at 13,000 collection points.
Poczta Polska has the largest click-and-collect network in the country. In addition to its own post offices, it includes Żabka stores, PKN Orlen gas stations, RUCH kiosks and newsstands, as well as parcel machines in Biedronka supermarkets, Lewiatan stores, and post offices. This form of delivery allows for convenient parcel collection, and Poczta Polska has just expanded its network to over 13,000 locations nationwide.
The development of the Pick-Up Point network is consistent with Poczta Polska's strategy to increase its share of the CEP (courier and parcel) market. The growth of the CEP market is driven by the popularity of online shopping and the growth of mail order.
"Convenience, accessibility, and universality are the key advantages of our network of collection points. This is our response to customer expectations to be able to collect goods ordered from online stores while attending to everyday matters, " says Tomasz Zdzikot, CEO of Poczta Polska. " We are gradually expanding our network and are in talks with partners who can expand it even further, " emphasizes Tomasz Zdzikot.
Every online purchase results in a new shipment. Already common online purchases, such as electronics, clothing, books, and toys, have been supplemented with new items previously purchased in traditional stores. Poles are increasingly ordering medicines, food, and construction materials online. The only choice left is how to deliver these e-purchases.
The coronavirus pandemic has led many customers to shift their shopping online, fueling even more rapid growth in the e-commerce market in the first half of 2020. While this rapid growth is currently fading, the general trend of consumer behavior shifting shopping online will continue to grow. The company also offers individual customers the option of sending a parcel for pickup at any of its locations throughout Poland. A detailed list of pickup points is available at obiewpunktie.poczta-polska.pl .
