The next edition of the Polish Post's unique publications: "Book of Postage Stamps 2022" and "Book of Postcards 2022" are now on sale.

On October 18th, Polish Post Holiday, the latest editions of the "Book of Postage Stamps" and "Book of Postcards" were delivered to Polish Post customers. Available in the online philatelic store, these publications represent a collection of all the items issued by the company last year.

The Books of Postage Stamps and the Books of Postcards are part of a history that tells the unique culture of the Polish nation. They uniquely align with the mission of Poczta Polska, which, through its extensive activities, honors major events, anniversaries, and exceptional figures. Poczta Polska teaches and strives to strengthen a sense of national identity, and this is best demonstrated by the compilation of all the items issued last year.

Philatelic publication projects are often dedicated to important social themes and nationwide campaigns. These items also significantly contribute to the promotion of Poland, its cultural heritage, and its history worldwide. Stamps and postcards not only serve an educational purpose but also stimulate reflection and, at times, evoke emotion, recalling Poland's most distinguished figures and the most important events in its history.

The "2022 Book of Postage Stamps" presents a wide range of themes from all items issued last year, consisting of 52 commemorative issues and 12 circulation issues, represented on a total of 91 postage stamps. Poczta Polska devoted its publications primarily to patriotic themes. Additionally, 37 issues of postcards with a pre-printed postage mark were released into circulation, including 42 stamps printed on postage cards.

Issues commemorating anniversaries falling in 2022 also deserve special recognition, including "The 80th Anniversary of the Zamość Uprising" and the breaking of the "Enigma" code. Poczta Polska also supports various social and environmental initiatives through its issues. These initiatives were reflected in issues such as "World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims," "National Museum in Warsaw," and "100th Anniversary of the Polish Beekeeping Organization."

Together with two postal operators, the Thai Post and the Argentine Post, Poczta Polska has introduced unique issues: "50th Anniversary of the Establishment of Polish-Thai Diplomatic Relations" and "Birds of Argentina and Poland." These stamp projects, coinciding with other global postal services, showcase not only cultural, religious, and ethnic diversity, but also the beauty of tradition, nature, and architecture.

Among last year's releases, the "Poland in Space" series deserves special mention, reflecting the ongoing digital philatelic revolution at Poczta Polska. Four paper stamps heralded the Cryptostamps, which will be available to digital collectors in February 2023. This is a historic moment for Poczta Polska, whose centuries-old philatelic tradition continues today with new technologies.

The price of the "2022 Book of Postcards" is PLN 369.00 gross, while the price of the "2022 Book of Postage Stamps" is PLN 689.00 gross. Both of these unique publications can be purchased at the Poczta Polska online philatelic store ( http://www.filatelistyka.poczta-polska.pl ).
