Activities of the Polish Post as part of the government's aid program for Ukraine.
Poczta Polska, as a company of particular economic and defense importance, performing tasks related to national defense, as well as an operator of critical infrastructure and playing a significant role in the national security system, has been involved in the assistance for Ukrainian refugees coordinated by the Polish state from the very beginning. The company offered passenger transport, cargo logistics, over 200 overnight accommodations, and employment opportunities within the Polish Post Office for those fleeing war-torn Ukraine.
Humanitarian aid to Ukraine and its residents is coordinated by the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, in conjunction with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration, the Government Agency for Strategic Reserves, and the relevant voivodes. Initiatives can be submitted by both individuals and companies. Local governments, foundations, and associations have also been invited to cooperate. A special application form has been launched for those interested in providing assistance:

Poczta Polska has made its resources available to the relevant state structures in several areas:
- a roof over your head – the possibility of using over 200 beds in the postal training and recreation centers in Jaszowiec and Szklarska Poręba and in the employee hotel located near the Warsaw sorting office;
- passenger transport – as a company operating throughout Poland, with a fleet of cars that can also be used for passenger transport, we have provided several dozen cars to transport Ukrainian citizens from the border to a location in Poland indicated by crisis management teams;
- goods logistics – being the largest logistics company in Poland, the Company has infrastructure, transport and personnel resources enabling the efficient transport of large quantities of goods to the place where support is needed, we carry out special transports on behalf of the Government Agency for Strategic Reserves;
- opportunity to employ Ukrainian citizens – in line with demand, we have also expressed our readiness to offer jobs, including many positions where knowledge of the Polish language is not required.
The company is also involved in helping Ukraine on its own. Among other initiatives, it organizes peer support, through which it raises funds and in-kind assistance through the corporate foundation "Pocztowy Dar." Its HR department also personally contacts all Ukrainian citizens employed by the company, inquiring about their needs and providing them with phone numbers of people they can contact for support. We are also hosting the first family members of our Ukrainian colleagues who fled to Poland to escape the war.
Over the past two years, Poczta Polska has also been extensively involved in government programs related to, among other things, the coronavirus pandemic. It provided logistical support to the Government Agency for Strategic Reserves and the Ministry of Health.
