Another cyberattack using the image of Poczta Polska
The Polish Post Office (Poczta Polska) is warning against further cybercriminal attacks using a previously used technique. In addition to emails about winning the latest smartphone models, which illegally use the company's logo, hackers are also impersonating the Polish Post Office using popular social media platforms, among other platforms.
Scammers create fake Poczta Polska profiles, claiming, for example, that they've won the latest smartphone by participating in a competition, which requires answering questions in a quiz or a supposed Poczta Polska loyalty program. Simply provide your details and follow the fake profile.
We would like to remind you of the correct address of the Poczta Polska Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pocztapolska and warn against providing your data.
If you receive suspicious messages or suspect any irregularities or discrepancies, please report the matter to the police and immediately inform us at cyberbezpieczenstwo[at]poczta-polska.pl . This will allow us to warn other online users.
At the same time, we would like to inform you that Poczta Polska is not responsible for the consequences of actions taken by customers in messages disseminated by other entities, including entities impersonating Poczta Polska.
