The consortium of Bank Pocztowy, PKO BP and eService will provide terminals for Poczta Polska

Thanks to the new contract signed with the consortium of Bank Pocztowy SA, PKO Bank Polski SA and eService Sp. zoo, from July 1 this year, Poczta Polska SA customers will be able to pay even more conveniently by card and using mobile payments in 4,700 branches and with 3,500 couriers.

Poczta Polska (Polish Post) has signed a new agreement for the lease of POS terminals and the processing of payment card transactions in cooperation with Bank Pocztowy, PKO Bank Polski (the Settlement Agent), and eService. Bank Pocztowy is the consortium leader, and the newly signed agreement provides customers with access to cashless payments at Poczta Polska's network of 4,700 branches and 3,500 couriers for the next three years.

The POS terminals installed at Poczta Polska branches enable the use of numerous modern services. In addition to accepting payments with VISA, Mastercard, and many other payment organizations, customers can also make BLIK payments, pay in the card's currency (DCC), top up mobile phones with cards, and use the cash-back service, which allows them to withdraw cash from their cards at the post office.

Poczta Polska was also the first in the domestic market to introduce a unique payment solution enabling cashless payment for cash-on-delivery parcels. This service is available to both individual and business customers. When collecting a parcel directly from a courier or at a post office, Poczta Polska customers can also pay cashless for cash-on-delivery parcels without any cash limits or additional fees.

In the near future, the Consortium, together with the Polish Post, plans to introduce new services using the possibilities offered by the terminals, including expanding the acceptance of card payments within the range of Totalizator Sportowy products offered.
