More favorable prices for EMS shipments between Poland and Ukraine
As a result of close cooperation between Poczta Polska and the Ukrainian Post, prices for EMS parcels sent in Ukraine and addressed to our country were reduced in 2023. This is not the first fruit of cooperation between the national operators of both countries. Earlier, in October 2022, Poczta Polska introduced a 75% more attractive price offer for EMS services to Ukraine. The new tariffs apply to individual and corporate customers.
The war in Ukraine is not stopping the flow of parcels between Poland and Ukraine. Poczta Polska (Polish Post) has introduced new prices for its EMS parcel service to Ukraine, which is enjoying considerable popularity, especially for the largest shipments, i.e., those weighing 10-20 kg. Similar changes were introduced on January 1st of this year by our neighbor's postal service. For example, a 1 kg EMS shipment from Ukraine to Poland costs $6. Up to 10 kg costs approximately $8.85, and up to 20 kg costs up to $12.50.

We are mindful of the difficult realities facing our eastern neighbor. Thanks to our close cooperation with the Ukrainian Post, we can offer competitive prices both to customers in Poland and those who send parcels to Poland through us, " notes Daniel Witowski, spokesperson for Poczta Polska.
Poczta Polska has begun work on preparing a rail connection to Ukraine, which will deliver parcels to recipients beyond our eastern border. According to the latest data from the Border Guard, over 9 million citizens of the attacked country have crossed the Polish-Ukrainian border since the beginning of the war. Ukrainian citizens, maintaining contact with loved ones and family, send numerous letters and parcels back home. With this in mind, Poczta Polska strives to ensure that its services in this area are attractive and as widely available as possible.
