Not just at the post office. You can now drop off your Pocztex parcel at select Eurocash Group stores.
Poczta Polska is constantly developing its services to ensure customers enjoy comfort and convenience, both when picking up and sending parcels, whether on the go – close to home or work. Together with the Eurocash Group and its technology partner, Pointpack, the company is expanding its parcel service partnership. Since February of this year, Poczta Polska customers have been able to send parcels at selected Eurocash Group-affiliated chain stores.
The development of cooperation with key partners in the e-commerce sector is one of the main actions undertaken by Poczta Polska to increase the Company's share in the promising parcel and courier market.
"We are working intensively on expanding our network of courier collection points and developing new functionalities. Thanks to our efforts and fruitful collaboration with partners, we can offer customers an increasingly wider selection of convenient Pocztex PUNKT locations, as well as new services. Customers now have the long-awaited opportunity to send courier parcels through our network of Pocztex PUNKT locations. This is an important change that will enable quick parcel shipping, close to work, home, or on daily commutes," says Krzysztof Falkowski, CEO of Poczta Polska.
The growing interest of individual customers in both online sales and shopping is reflected in the proposal to expand Poczta Polska's existing partnership with the Eurocash Group. The partners' goal is to offer the widest possible range of services for store customers. In addition to the existing option of collecting parcels at selected Eurocash Group-affiliated stores (ABC, Lewiatan, Groszek, Arhelan, Delikatesy Centrum), consumers now have the option of sending parcels by courier. In December 2022, we launched the option of sending parcels at Żabka stores across Poland, and now, from February of this year, also at Eurocash Group-affiliated stores. Customers can not only collect their purchases but also send their parcels via https://www.pocztex.pl/
" The Eurocash Group's mission for 26 years in the market has been to support entrepreneurs operating retail stores across Poland. We maintain a strong position for independent retailers by building the competitiveness of local store owners. We provide them with effective business models, purchasing scale, technological solutions, logistics, marketing support, and access to knowledge. Expanding our partnership with Poczta Polska to include the ability to ship courier parcels to stores in our chains interested in implementing such a solution is another element that entrepreneurs can leverage to increase the attractiveness of their stores to customers," says Jan Domański, spokesperson for the Eurocash Group.
This is especially good news for residents of smaller towns and rural areas, where numerous stores belonging to the Eurocash Group operate. In total, nearly 16,000 stores operate across Poland under the Group's franchise, partner, and agency brands, creating the largest retail network in the country. It's worth noting that the number of parcel pickup/drop-off points at selected Eurocash-affiliated stores has doubled over the past year – customers can now choose from over 2,500 locations.
" The expansion of our partnership with Poczta Polska and the Eurocash Group to include courier shipments is primarily due to the growing customer demand we've been observing for a long time. Through new implementations with existing partners, we demonstrate that the courier, express delivery, and parcel (CEP) market in Poland is constantly evolving. We're meeting consumer expectations by integrating our partners across Poland," says Dr. Paulina Żmijowska, Marketing & PR Manager at Pointpack.
Poczta Polska is focusing on developing multi-channel delivery – customers can choose the most convenient way to collect their purchases from three available options: Pocztex PUNKT – delivery to a network of collection points, which includes nearly 17,000 locations across Poland and is constantly growing; Pocztex AUTOMAT – delivery to parcel vending machines nationwide; and Pocztex KURIER – courier delivery to a specified address. On the other hand, Poczta Polska, together with its partners, is also expanding its cooperation with new services in the field of courier shipments for business and retail customers. The option of collecting and sending parcels in a store also contributes to environmental protection by reducing CO2 emissions and the number of kilometers traveled by couriers.
