"UNCERTAINTY. Mickiewicz in love " - a story of the poet's youthful love in cinemas from September 13, 2024

The film "Uncertainty. Mickiewicz in love ", who will go to cinema screens on September 13, 2024, presents one of the most famous, though often superficially perceived, stories from the life of Adam Mickiewicz. The story focuses on his youthful love for Maryla Wereszczakówna - a feeling that inspired the poet to write "ballads and romances", a work opening the era of Polish romanticism.
The film takes place in the picturesque, almost fairy -tale surroundings of the noble court near Nowogródek. Young Mickiewicz (played by Nikodem Rozbicki) spends summer in the company of friends - Tomasz Zan (Antoni Sałaj) and Michał Wereszczak (Adrian Zaremba). Time passes at discussions about the future of Poland and exciting fencing duels, but in this idyllic atmosphere there are anxieties associated with the early years of the rule of the Congress Kingdom under the rule of Tsar Alexander I. The most important thread of the story is the developing feeling between Mickiewicz and Maryla Weresandra Piotrowska (Aleksandra Piotrowska). Maryla, beautiful and smart, quickly gains the attention of a poet who begins to perceive her work as a way to get her heart. It is full of tension and uncertainty feeling Mickiewicz's difficult choice: love for Maryla or loyalty to a friend of Tomasz, who also wants to gain her considerations.

Poczta Polska, a film partner, actively supports its promotion. Advertising posters will appear in post offices throughout the country.
