With a new philatelic issue, we are joining the nationwide #SZCZEPIMYSIĘ campaign.

Let's vaccinate wwwPoczta Polska, under an agreement with the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, is participating in the promotion of the National COVID-19 Vaccination Program. To support the nationwide information campaign, the #SZCZEPIMYSIĘ stamp will be introduced on July 15th. This is another initiative by Poczta Polska to counteract the spread of the pandemic and limit its impact. To build the broadest possible reach of the vaccination message among Poles, 2 million stamps will be issued.

A press briefing regarding the issue took place at the Polish Post Headquarters in Warsaw with the participation of Anna Goławska, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Health, and Andrzej Bodziony, Vice-President of the Management Board of Polish Post.

The stamp depicts the figure of a young woman after vaccination against COVID, as a symbol of the only effective method of defeating the virus, as well as the campaign slogan #SZCZEPISIĘ and OTTORNIA RSTA!

In addition to the stamp, Poczta Polska is issuing a First Day of Circulation (FDC) envelope, featuring an infographic depicting two men and two women of different ages who have also received the COVID-19 vaccine and express their satisfaction with the vaccine. Additional graphic elements on the envelope include the campaign slogans: FINAL STRING! and #SZCZEPIMYSIĘ. These slogans also appear in the date stamp accompanying the issue.

In terms of internal policy, Poczta Polska regularly promotes the COVID-19 vaccination program among employees through internal communications. Additionally, it introduced the option of taking a day off to receive a COVID-19 vaccination during working hours. Employees with a position classified as operational received a day off on the day each dose of the vaccine was administered. Those working in administration were able to receive the vaccination during working hours, without having to make up for the time used for the vaccination.

In post offices, procedures for the prevention and protection against coronavirus infection have been introduced for customers and employees in accordance with the recommendations and applicable regulations.

In cooperation with the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, the company is co-implementing information and registration activities. Specially trained consultants from the Postal Contact Center provided support to the National COVID-19 Vaccination Program hotline. Since October 2020, Poczta Polska has also provided staff to the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate hotline. Consultants provide information on topics such as COVID-19 recommendations, quarantine or isolation guidelines, procedures to follow in the event of direct contact with an infected person, guidelines for referrals for COVID-19 testing and procedures to follow in the event of a positive test result, and the possibility of international and domestic travel – which is particularly important now, as Poles plan vacations and holidays for their children. To date, postal workers have handled over 35,000 calls in support of the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate hotline.

The Pocztowy Dar Foundation supported a number of institutions fighting the coronavirus pandemic last year and this year. Funds donated by entities within the Poczta Polska Group and individual donors provided aid to hospitals in need, enabling the purchase of medical equipment that patients will be able to use for years to come. These devices are used both in patient diagnostics and in the treatment process.

To date, the "Pocztowy Dar" Foundation has donated nearly PLN 600,000 in donations to medical institutions.

Poczta Polska, under an agreement with the Ministry of Health, is handling both deliveries and returns of pulse oximeters. Distribution is being carried out as part of the Home Medical Care (DOM) program. The DOM program is a remote monitoring system for COVID-19-infected individuals whose health allows for home isolation. It enables the rapid detection of patients who, due to a deterioration in their health, require hospitalization. Diagnostics include monitoring of saturation levels (i.e., the saturation of arterial blood with oxygen), heart rate, temperature, and symptoms. Patients receive pulse oximeters and also use the system to transmit and monitor data.

The company also performs a range of tasks, including warehousing, packaging, pallet transport, and parcel services. It delivers to hospitals (including temporary hospitals in Warsaw, Krakow, and Katowice, among others), provincial governors' warehouses, primary healthcare facilities, social welfare homes, blood donation centers, fire departments, police, the Polish Army, and pharmacies.
