Collecting parcels using the mObywatel application
As of April 23rd, Poczta Polska customers can receive domestic and international postal items (letters, parcels, and courier services) using an electronic document. The ID document can be presented on the screen of a mobile device.
The document's credibility will be verified based on elements confirming that the data is reliable, secure, and up-to-date. The mTożsamość/mDokument electronic verification will not apply to financial services provided by Poczta Polska, including postal money orders, as well as banking and insurance services.
The change is the result of the Regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure of 4 April 2019 on the conditions for the provision of universal services by the designated operator.
