Poczta Polska, together with its partners, has introduced additional security measures and changes to the parcel collection process to enhance the safety of employees and customers using the Pick-Up Point service. The network includes post offices, Smartbox vending machines, Żabka stores, PKN Orlen gas stations, and Ruch kiosks and newsstands. In total, this represents over 12,000 points across Poland.

Recent changes include, among others:

  • Designating special safety zones in post offices to ensure a safe distance can be maintained between customers and employees.
  • Installation of protective plexiglass barriers at checkouts at collection points.
  • Limiting the number of customers staying at the point at the same time.
  • Providing points and employees with the necessary disinfection and personal protective equipment.
  • Changing the collection procedure to contactless identity verification at post offices and Orlen petrol stations – the customer only presents an identity document from a safe distance, then the employee writes down the last four digits of the number of the document being verified on the receipt.
  • Collection without receipt at post offices and Orlen stations – the customer does not sign and collects the parcel without receipt.

As part of the Pick-up Point service, Poczta Polska provides 200 Smartbox machines located in post offices and Biedronka stores, from which you can independently and safely collect parcels.
