UKRAINE PLUS Parcel – a service with great potential
Poczta Polska is seeing a steady increase in the volume of shipments sent through its Paczka UKRAINA PLUS service, which serves the largest group of foreigners residing in Poland. Estimates suggest that the number of Ukrainian citizens working in Poland may exceed 3 million in 2019.
Since the launch of the service, Poczta Polska has been continuously adapting the service to meet customer expectations. In May 2017, an interactive solution was introduced that allows senders to prepare address labels without leaving home. Using a form available on the Poczta Polska website at http://paczkaukrainaplus.poczta-polska.pl, it is possible to print and fill out the address label. This solution not only provides convenience but also speeds up the parcel shipping process. The form is available in three languages, which certainly overcomes the language barrier for Ukrainian citizens. In October 2018, the price list and terms and conditions of the service were modified, transforming the parcel service into a courier service and adding the advantages of courier services to the already attractive offer.
Parcel UKRAINE PLUS is an alternative service for all customers wishing to send a parcel beyond the eastern border. The advantage of this offer is not only the price but also the high quality of delivery, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of parcels within Ukraine, directly to the recipient's door. The service supports parcels weighing a maximum of 20 kg, and the value of the items shipped cannot exceed PLN 400.00. The guaranteed delivery date anywhere in Ukraine, excluding Crimea and Sevastopol, and the locations listed on the website, is a huge advantage of this service. The contents of the parcel can include both clothing and food, as is the case with any postal parcel sent outside of Poland.
