The Pick-up Point network already has 12,000 locations
The Pick-Up Point network, comprised of Poczta Polska (Polish Post Office), Żabka stores, PKN Orlen gas stations, and RUCH kiosks and newsstands, has been expanded to include parcel machines at post offices and Biedronka supermarkets. The Polish Post currently has the largest click-and-collect network, enabling convenient parcel pickup at 12,000 locations, and the popularity of this collection method is steadily growing. After nine months of this year, parcel volume growth remains at over 220% year-on-year.
The development of the Pick-up at POINT network is in line with the company’s strategy, which assumes increasing its share in the CEP (courier, express, parcel) market.
Currently, one in four parcels is collected at one of Poczta Polska's network locations, and the popularity of this form of delivery is constantly growing. Nine months into this year, parcel volume growth remains at over 220% year-on-year. In the pre-holiday period, one in three parcels will be delivered to collection points and parcel machines. The company also offers individual customers the option of sending a parcel for collection at any of its locations throughout Poland. A detailed list of collection points is available at obiewpunktcie.poczta-polska.pl .
Each month in 2019, millions of parcels arrive at the Pick-Up Point network. More than half of these are collected at post offices, the rest at partner locations. Of the 12,000 locations, 6,000 are Żabka stores.
