Post offices offering new insurance against cancer and cardiovascular diseases

As part of the "Spokojne Życie" (Peaceful Life) product, you can extend your coverage with ONKO insurance – the latest package providing financial support and medical assistance in the event of a diagnosis of malignant tumor, in-situ malignant tumor, or circulatory system disease. Through the distribution of insurance and banking products, as well as a wide range of commercial products, Poczta Polska aims to systematically increase the profitability of its branches.
At Poczta Polska branches, you can obtain information on the selection of postal insurance offers and conclude a contract tailored to individual consumer expectations.
PTUiŻ insurance offers support in the most difficult, often unpredictable, situations. An additional advantage is its wide availability, as distribution is handled by Poczta Polska (Polish Post) branches, also located in small towns and rural areas.
From August this year, customers of branches who have concluded a "Spokojne Życie" insurance contract with Pocztowe Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń na Życie SA can extend their coverage with the new ONKO package.
The ONKO package primarily provides a cash benefit in the event of a diagnosis of malignant tumor, malignant tumor in situ, heart attack, or stroke. Additionally, as part of the assistance benefits, the insured person can also count on home assistance with daily chores, such as meal preparation and shopping. Assistance also includes organizing rehabilitation at home (including providing necessary rehabilitation equipment) or at a rehabilitation center.
ONKO medical assistance includes the possibility of using:
- telephone consultation or video medical consultation,
- preventive examinations,
- a medical hotline related to diseases and hospices and a dedicated hotline – Illness Advisor,
- second national medical opinion,
- rehabilitation,
- help from a psychologist,
- nursing visit after hospitalization (including dressings, injections, medication administration, blood pressure and pulse measurement),
- medical transport,
- dietitian consultation,
- delivery of medicines,
- home help after hospitalization,
- accommodation for an accompanying person in a hotel during the Insured's stay in hospital,
- organization and delivery of rehabilitation equipment
- Additionally, in the case of cancer, the Assistance service also includes the organization and co-financing of the purchase of a wig or prosthesis.

The advantage of postal insurance is its availability in approximately 5,000 branches nationwide.
